Are you looking for an enriching and varied internship in the great outdoors in the mountains, working with the public and promoting science? This summer, come and enjoy an extraordinary group experience for a month at an altitude of 2,100 meters in the heart of jardin du Lautaret in the Hautes-Alpes.

Background

Visitors to the Lautaret Garden can discover 2,300 species of alpine plants in an incredible setting, presented according to their geographical origin, habitat, botanical classification, and medicinal, toxic, or edible properties. Each step takes them to a new continent in this botanical and dreamlike tour of the world. Surrounded by mountains on all sides, they walk among streams, pontoons, ponds, reconstructed environments, natural meadows, historic chalets, century-old trees, bird gazebos... until they arrive at this unique view of La Meije, reflected in the water of a small pond surrounded by flowers. In addition to guided tours of the garden, numerous events are scheduled throughout the summer. Open-air concerts, storytelling walks, botanical watercolor courses, workshops, meetings, conferences, and behind-the-scenes scientific tours. The jardin du Lautaret a scientific hotspot to be discovered in the museum space and by following the "discovery and science" signs scattered throughout the garden.
