The jardin du Lautaret located at an altitude of 2,100 meters at the Lautaret Pass in the Hautes-Alpes. For over 100 years, this garden has maintained and preserved a vast collection of 2,000 species of mountain flowers from around the world, in an exceptional landscape facing the Meije glaciers.

The Garden and Science

The Garden is affiliated to the Université Grenoble Alpes and the CNRS. It is a member of numerous scientific networks and federations.

Summer visits

Open from the first weekend of June to the first weekend of September, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Guided tours every day at 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m., and 4 p.m.
