Since its founding in 1899, The jardin du Lautaret , planting, harvesting, preserving, drying, and distributing. From living plants to seeds, from living plants to dried specimens, immerse yourself in the Lautaret collections, spanning from the late 20th century to the present day.
From herbariums tothe Index seminum, from the nursery to the seed bank, we invite you to explore the work of the botanists and gardeners on the Lautaret Garden team, as well as how both the public and researchers make use of it.
Christophe Perrier is an expert in botany and malacology (the study of mollusks). He has been working at The jardin du Lautaret 20 years. Currently, he is focusing on reorganizing our herbarium and is also in charge of guided tours of the garden.
