LabEx ITTEM, OSUG, and GraduateSchool@UGAin partnership with The jardin du Lautaret, are organizing thefirstSpringMountain Research School, which is a doctoral and master's degree program focusing on interdisciplinarity between the humanities and social sciences and earth and environmental sciences in mountain regions.

This school will take place from Monday, April 20 to Friday, April 24, 2026.

The program includes five days on the theme of the mountain cryosphere (snow and ice) and its transformations linked to global change.

The aim of this MRS is to raise awareness among future researchers of the links and complementarities between different disciplines, as well as interactions with actors in the mountain world. Speakers from the humanities, social sciences, and environmental sciences will offer varied and complementary perspectives, encouraging participants to question the relevance of these disciplinary crossovers in order to nourish and enrich their own research work.

The pre-registration form is available online on the OSUG website until March 23, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.
