As part of the French Nature Reserves Congress held in Le Monetier-Les-Bains, Emmanuelle Wargon, Secretary of State to the Minister of State, Minister for Ecological and Solidarity Transition, came to visit us on Thursday, June 6, 2019.
We would like to thank Emmanuelle Wargon, Secretary of State to the Minister of State, Minister for Ecological and Solidarity Transition, who visited the Lautaret garden, for taking the time to visit our research and science discovery station and the Garden, in the presence of our two supervisory bodies (Université Grenoble Alpes the CNRS). We would also like to thank Pierre Commenville, Director of the Ecrins National Park, for organizing this visit, the scientists who presented their experiments, and the Director of the Grenoble Observatory of Universe Sciences: all of whom contributed to the success of this visit.
Jean-Gabriel Valay, director of the Garden, and Didier Voisin, professor atUniversité Grenoble Alpes, Institute of Environmental Geosciences, presented Emmanuelle Wargon with the facilities of the Edytem (Chambéry) and LECA (Grenoble) laboratories, the Ecrins National Park, and the WSL (Switzerland).
Dominique Joly, Deputy Scientific Director of the CNRS Institute of Ecology and Environment, introduced him to the network of ecological research stations.
Emmanuelle Wargon, alongside Eric Saint Aman, Vice President of Research atUniversité Grenoble Alpes, discovers The jardin du Lautaret, in the presence of Sandra Lavorel and Wilfried Thuiller, research directors at the CNRS, Grenoble Alpine Ecology Laboratory, as well as Ms. Cécile Bigot-Dekeyzer, Prefect of the Hautes-Alpes.
